My name is Kimberly Irwin, but please call me Kim; all my friends do. I’m a military kid-turned multi-genre author. I’m working on various stories that range from sci-fi, fantasy, historical-fiction, romance; I even have one idea for a thriller! In my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends, traveling as much as possible, going out and trying new things, and reading anything of the fantasy/sci-fi variety, or watching/appreciating art in any form.

I’m primarily focused on finishing my debut sci-fi adventure/coming of age novel, Book 1 of the Enlightenment Saga, (title not yet revealed), which for now looks like it will be a trilogy, as well as making notes for my dozen other book ideas.

(I first had my book idea and began furiously/excitedly writing in the fall of 2019; I also participated in and won 2019’s NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) competition, achieving the goal of writing 50,000 words in one month. While 50K words can technically be long enough for a short novel, most sci-fi novels are upwards of 200K words, and so my book was just getting started!)

Professionally, I’m a digital marketer and writer based in the Washington, D.C. area. I graduated with magna cum laude honors from Christopher Newport University with a B.S.B.A. in Marketing.
