Just Write
You can do it. Keep going.
Write. Create. Something out of nothing. There’s just you, a keyboard, and a blank page. And you must go forth and conquer.
Create. Do. Executive dysfunction be damned, because a novel won’t write itself. You have to do it. Each word. Each letter. Each keystroke. You. Must. Do. It.
No one can read your mind and tell your story the way you want it to be told. It has to be you.
You’re someone’s favorite author — they just haven’t read your book yet to find that out.
You will change someone’s life for the better. But you have to do it. Finish what you started.
It’s hard. It has to be; if it were easy everyone would do it. But it will be oh so sweet and oh so worth it.
But just like with anything you really want — you have to want it more than anything and do everything possible to keep at it and make it a reality. It’s ok if it takes years — time doesn’t really matter — it’s the effort, it’s the journey. It’s the eventual realized finished project that you poured your heart and soul into, that makes it all worth it.
You can do this. One word at a time. One keystroke at a time (although upping your typing speed wouldn’t hurt).
You’ve got this. Don’t stop. You’ve got the momentum now.
I can’t wait to read my favorite book for the first time.
